
Chicken Tikka Masala
Full of Aromatic flavours
Equipment
- 7L slow cooker
Ingredients
- 500 gram Chicken breast – could also use thigh
- 1 onion brown diced – could also use red onion
- 500 gram Passata
- 1 tsp Minced garlic
- 1 tsp -Ginger
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp Tomato purée
- 1 tbsp Sugar (optional)
- 1/2 a 283g jar Pataks Tikka Masala PASTE (not the sauce in same brand)
- 100 ml double cream or Ayam coconut cream (add in the last 15 mins)
To Garnish
- Keep some cream by and serve with swirl of the cream
- and coriander leaves
To Serve
- Cooked rice
- Garlic naan bread
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to slow cooker except cream
- Cook on high for 4 hrs
- In the last 15 mins add the cream
- Serve with rice or garlic naan or both
