Equipment

  • 7L slow cooker

Ingredients
 

  • 500 gram Chicken breast - could also use thigh
  • 1 onion brown diced - could also use red onion
  • 500 gram Passata
  • 1 tsp Minced garlic
  • 1 tsp -Ginger
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Tomato purée
  • 1 tbsp Sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 a 283g jar Pataks Tikka Masala PASTE (not the sauce in same brand)
  • 100 ml double cream or Ayam coconut cream (add in the last 15 mins)

To Garnish

  • Keep some cream by and serve with swirl of the cream
  • and coriander leaves

To Serve

  • Cooked rice
  • Garlic naan bread

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to slow cooker except cream
  • Cook on high for 4 hrs
  • In the last 15 mins add the cream
  • Serve with rice or garlic naan or both
