  1. Hi, I’m making this dish today and needing some advice please. My shanks are in the slow cooker at the moment but are not fully covered with the liquid. Should they be?

I’m sorry I found this too late!
But generally speaking no that’s fine
I just flip them half way if I’m around to do so 🙂

  2. They are really good!
I have also used a small lambroast with this.
I tend to add cellary and mushroom and garlic. I only use one onion
And it goes amazing with rice
(I added cherry tomatoes once also nice)
(I dont reduce liquid i find once adding gravy i do it about 10-30mins after serving it is fine)
^_^ im glad i came cross this recipe. Thanks!

I cooked this today for the first time and it was delicious. I did put carrots and some garlic in mine also. So easy with few ingredients. I will be making this again.
