    Does it get any better?
This is one of my most favourite ways to cook snags in a slow cooker

Is it necessary to have tea towel under the lid ?

It helps with the moisture dripping into sauce but no you don’t have to
You could use other thickening methods at end also

Absolutely delicious. Best way to have sausages.

Wow. Definitely doing these again and definitely recommend to members. I added a dash of Worcestshire sauce and tomato sauce. So tasty. You could do these as a meal or I did as a snack in a crusty roll. My eldest Mr fussy devoured his and actually gave his feedback in sentences! Thankyou to the creator of this recipe

What would you recommend I you serve these with?

Mashed potatoes and veg is yummy! 🙂

Aaah good to be back. Did this again after too long in between, and they are so tasty and fairly easy in the prep. Satisfied the extended family completely, which is a rare feat. Served with jacket potatoes topped with fried bacon, cheese, iceberg lettuce and sour cream. Thank you Fiona this is a great recipe.

I made these for the family the other night, and they were amazing.
I doubled the sauce amount and they were perfect cooked.
Served with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli.
    Will definitely make these again.

Why is baking paper needed please?

    1. Paulene @ Slow Cooker Central

To prevent sticking 🙂 You can skip if you find yours doesn’t tend to stick

Made these the other night, very taste and after reading some of the comments before I cooked them, I too doubled the sauce recipe,
Husband gave them the thumbs up ??

Wow! What a way to cook Sausages in the Slow Cooker – so easy & soooo tasty. I used caramelised bacon on mine, didn’t have plain bbq so in went Uncle Ray’s Smokey BBQ sauce – a real winner for the humble snag!!!

These went down well w a fussy “not-a-fan-of-the-SC” hubby……left out the garlic & added a good ‘slosh’ of Sweet Chilli sauce to the BBQ sauce……very tasty

Made this for an after school snack and the kids loved it. I didn’t have BBQ so I just used ‘tangy tomato sauce’ and it was good, they licked the plate clean!

I cooked these yesterday and reheated for dinner tonight – OMG they were delish!!
I made some changes to ingredients
Only 1/3 cup BBQ sauce then added 4 tblspns Hot Tomato Sauce (as in chili) and 4 tblspns sweet chili sauce.
Hubby loved them and said they can be added as a regular to the dinner menu

Amazing recipe made this years ago and my girls were asking for it again. They’ve now grown up I now need to double the recipe!

    5 stars
    WOW WOW WOW!!!
This recipe was hubby approved, he enjoyed the dinner. His comments were “not too sweet, salty just right”. Can’t ask for anything else.
Me on the other hand, knew it was going to be a hit. The flavours were perfect. Another winning meal on actual repeat. Thank you @Fiona, for your delicious recipe 😋🙏❤️🏆
