For Mince, Tomato and Vegetable Sauce
* cook onions in saucepan
* add garlic cook for 2mins
*add mince cook to brown
*add herbs cook for 1 min
* add Worcestershire sauce cook for 2 mins
*put in slow cooker
* add everything else to slow cooker
* then add 2 cups of water
* cook for 4-6 hours on low or till vegetables are soft (the smaller you chop the veg the less time you need to softenthem)
* then blend with stick blender
(This makes heaps of sauce it can be frozen for later and can also be added to pasta)
For Pies (makes 12)
*chop Sweet potato, potato and pumpkin
*put in pot of water on stove
*cook
* mash (add a bit of butter and milk to mash)
*oil muffin tray
* cut sheets of pastry into 4s
*place the pastry in the muffin tray
*put 1 heap tablespoon of Mince, Tomato and Vegetable Sauce into each
*put 1 heap tablespoon of mash on top of each
*sprinkle grated cheese on top
*curl edges of pastry in
*place into oven on 200c for about 30mins or until golden brown
