Bananas in Caramel Sauce

Ingredients
4 bananas
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp apple juice
50g butter
Instructions
Peel bananas and slice lenghtways
Line slow cooker with baking paper and lay bananas slice side down flat along base of slow cooker
Melt butter in microwave
Add butter, juice and brown sugar to bowl and stir to combine well
Pour over bananas
Place tea-towel under lid and cover and cook on HIGH for 40mins approx
Time may vary in slow cookers so cook until syrup becomes thicker and bananas are cooked to softened
Lovely served with creamy vanilla ice-cream to balance the sweet of the caramel
