Ingredients
One brown onion sliced
2 large carrots sliced
2 stalks of celery
1 tin tomatoes
1 cup red wine
1 tablespoon Marsala (or very sweet liquor)
1 tablespoon smoky paprika
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon cumin
2 cloves garlic
oil and plain flour for browning
Instructions
Coat the beef cheeks in flour and brown
Add the onions carrots, celery and garlic to the pan and cook until caramelized.
Place in the slow cooker with wine, herbs and tomatoes.
Cook for 8 hours on auto ( 2 hours high 6 hours low)
