Morrocan Beef Cheeks

Ingredients
 

  • One brown onion sliced
  • 2 large carrots sliced
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1 tin tomatoes
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon Marsala (or very sweet liquor)
  • 1 tablespoon smoky paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • oil and plain flour for browning

Instructions
 

  • Coat the beef cheeks in flour and brown
  • Add the onions carrots, celery and garlic to the pan and cook until caramelized.
  • Place in the slow cooker with wine, herbs and tomatoes.
  • Cook for 8 hours on auto ( 2 hours high 6 hours low)
