Beef bisto/gravy granules (in the glass jar) - to suit you
Instructions
Cut beef into chunks and sear/brown
Cut up onion, leek and mushrooms and add to sear pan
Continue to cook
Add sear pan contents back to slow cooker and add the remaining- carrots, peas, potatoes
Add water so all is just covered
Pop in beef stock cube
Add bisto gravy granules to suit your taste
Cook for 4 to 5 hours on high
Salt/pepper to taste

An escalope is a piece of boneless meat that has been thinned out using a mallet, rolling pin or beaten with the handle of a knife, or merely butterflied. The mallet breaks down the fibers in the meat, making it more tender, while the thinner meat cooks faster with less moisture loss.
