Pea And Smoked Ham Soup
A deliciously hearty, full of flavour and meaty pea, potato and smoked ham soup.

- 1x Tray of smoked pork bones
- 1x smoked ham hock or 500 grams of smoked chunky bacon pieces. (Or you can have both for an even meatier soup)
- 1x 500 gram packet of green split peas
- 1x 500 gram packet of yellow split peas
- 2-3 large diced potatoes
- Approximately 1 litre of water
Rinse peas until water runs clear
Place peas to the bottom of the cooker
Place ham hock, bacon pieces, and smoked bones in the cooker
Throw the diced potato in with the other ingredients
Cover with water
Place cooked on low for 8-10 hours. All cookers vary in time. Cook to your desired consistency.
