  1. I cooked this last weekend. I put in the oven for the last 20 minutes to brown up the skin. Wife loved it. So juicy and moist.

  2. This is a lovely recipe. Everyone who ate it came back for seconds! ? We will definitely be making it again. Thankyou.

  3. Makes the best gravy ever! Chicken is beautifully seasoned. I had never use sweet chilli sauce before because I thought it was hot. I am now on the hunt for other recipes that use it.

  4. This was yummy I will never have roast chicken in the oven again. I followed the instructions to the tee, some of the breast meat was a little dry so I will knock the cooking time back to 6 hours next time 🙂

  5. This has become one of my favourite recipes, chicken is so tender and tasty. I use some cornflour to thicken the sauce at the end.

    Simply delicious!
I used a 1.7kg chicken, and made it 1/2 cup of sweet chilli (as we love it here).
Served with boiled potatoes and vegies and used the extra sauce to flavour all the meal.
Hubby LOVED it, especially eating the onion that had been in the chicken!
    Thanks for another fantastic recipe.

    yum yum yum!

have made this twice in the last month. Such juicy, tender meat, sauce is delicious, I thicken on the stove top at the end of cooking.
We love it with rice & steamed veggies

freezes in the sauce really well.
