Slow Cooker Chai Tea
- 6 cups water
- 4 slices fresh, peeled ginger
- 6 green cardamon pods, crushed
- 6 whole cloves
- 2 or more peppercorns
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 5 black tea bags
- 1. Pour water into your slow cooker. Stir in the ginger, cardamom pods, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and peppercorns. Turn to High; simmer for 3 hours lid on.
- 2. Steep tea bags in the hot spiced water for 5-7 minutes. Strain tea and serve with your preferred milk and sweeten to taste.
