Slow Cooker Chai Tea

  • 6 cups water
  • 4 slices fresh, peeled ginger
  • 6 green cardamon pods, crushed
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 2 or more peppercorns
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 5 black tea bags


  • Directions
  • 1. Pour water into your slow cooker. Stir in the ginger, cardamom pods, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and peppercorns. Turn to High; simmer for 3 hours lid on.
  • 2. Steep tea bags in the hot spiced water for 5-7 minutes. Strain tea and serve with your preferred milk and sweeten to taste.
