Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 8 hours
Total Time 8 hours 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • Pork spare ribs.
  • (I get packets of about 4 ribs and use 3 packs)
  • 500ml bbq sauce.

Instructions

  • Trim off excess fat from ribs. I de-bone aswell as it's easier to eat.
  • Place ribs in slow cooker and pour over the bbq sauce.
  • Cook on low for 8hours.
  • End result will be the most tender, full of flavor bbq ribs you've everything had!
  • Serve with veggies & brown rice with the sauce.

Cooking time is 8 hours, is it on high or low?
Do you put the ribs in upside position in de slowcooker?
Thanks in advance for your answer.

Well this was our dinner tonight and it was absolutely delicious ?? I used two strips of ribs and 2 bottles of the Masterfoods sweet plum sauce. The meat was falling off the bone after about 6 hours. Very highly recommend.

Made this today and it is absolutely fantastic. So tender & fall off the bone.
I added (to my BBQ sauce) some cayenne pepper & sambal oelek for some spice.
Cooked on low for 7hrs using the Tea Towel method for the last 2 hrs as was a little liquidy & this worked a treat.
Didn’t bother putting in oven as it was so inviting as it was.
    Worth making.

Have made this several times, so easy and very tasty, I use sweet baby ray’s BBQ sauce, leftovers freeze well, it makes a regular appearance on our menu,

Will try this on this cold dangy day. Never try to make this in a slow cooker, but I am sure it’ll be delish 🙂 Looks quite simple.
