Slow cooked roast pork

Ingredients
 

  • Boneless pork leg roast
  • Potatoes
  • Carrots
  • Onion
  • Apples

Instructions
 

  • Place potatoes, carrots & onion on bottom of pot. Take pork and make slits in crackling. Slice apple and stuff slices into slits. Place pork on top of veggies. Cook on low setting for 8 hours.
  • Take pork out when cooked and carefully take off crackling and place it on oven tray along with veg if you want them to crisp up a bit. They only need a few mins on a high setting.
  • Your pork should fall apart with a fork. Serve with steamed veg & gravy. Enjoy!!

  1. Going to try this tomorrow night for dinner just wondering if I took the skin/crackle off before putting the roast in the slow cooker and just put it in the oven half hour before roast is ready, would that work?
