This was to die for.
Had mashed potatoes and silverbeet as sides.
Used 6 pork loin chops so l doubled the sauce.

Simple and saucy chops tonight. I used lamb chops and added some worcestershire sauce. Was heaps of delicious sauce left over. Was a hit with the whole family!
Had this for tea tonight easy to put together, but the taste is amazing.
I left out the onion, personal taste. I took the lid of for the last twenty minutes instead of the tea towel trick. Served with mash potato/sweet potato and pumpkin. Will definitely make again
This recipe is absolutely delicious, I served it with the cheesy potato smash in book 5 and a side salad. Will definitely make again.
Thank you.
What type of pork chops do u use Pls
It’s very adaptable to any pork you prefer 🙂
Love love love this dish. Even my fuss 3 year old meat eater enjoyed. Definitely doing this dish again maybe even using shoulder blade so I can shred it
These are soo awesome ? i make them every week
Would plum sauce go with this. My son doesn’t eat any tomatoes or sauces. Thank you so much .
You could 🙂
Sooo easy and yum!!!
Believe it or not I loved these more then I do RIBS!!!! I used 2kg pork loin chops but left the qty of the sauce the same as above as it makes plenty of sauce and still cooked them for 4 hours on LOW. I thickened with some cornflour and served with mash DELISH and as the recipe is called they truly are ‘simple n saucy’
Could you try this recipe with either lamb chops and/or chuck beef?
I haven’t tried personally but I don’t see why not Carlie 🙂 I would think beef would be better as less oily than lamb 🙂
I halve this recipe as there is only two of us and it’s very yummy ?, I serve with creamy mashed potato, carrots and beans and I pour the left over sauce over the veggies. Make this quite often ?
We have this dish quite regularly and it is yum, yum, yum.
My partner also loves it.
This was delicious.
Only used 2 pork chops so halves the sauce and there was plenty.
Served with mashed potatoes and veges.
Will definitely make it again
A family favourite, served with mash potato!
Could you put veggies in it to cook at the same time ?
I don’t see why not so long as you enjoy them with the same flavours 🙂
So simple to make and was delicious, will be adding to our list of regular dinners ? Thankyou
Delish ? Only used 2 large pork chops and have lots of sauce. Will definitely make again.
Loved it, I halved the amount of tomato sauce.
Absolutely delicious.. served it with mash and greens and charged my hubby $30 for his evening meal ??????????????
OMG! How can something so simple be so absolutely, amazingly, delicious?
Pauline Christie, we are obsessed!
No, not with the Obsession Sauce, but with the Simple n’ Saucy Pork Chops!
Discovered this recipe on Saturday 3/6 and hubby loved it. Requested it be added as a regular meal!
CONFESSION: Here we are 3 nights later enjoying this deliciousness again ?

Absolutely delicious, had this for dinner a couple of nights ago and served it with rice. The was amazing and the Pork Chops were so tender, will definitely be having this again, maybe with Mash and Veggies next time
I made this with potato & kumera mash and greens last night for my family and I had leftover sauce on Vogels toast for lunch today, yummy!! ?
I followed the recipe exactly, used 3 pork steaks, which are very lean.
10/10 from us, was soo delicious.
Will definitely make this again.
Absolutely beautiful. So tasty, the pork was so tender. I never seem to get pork chops to be tender. So In future I will always cook them this way from now on. Thank you Paulene for another wonderful recipe. ?
This was delicious, served with mashed potatoes, steamed corn and broccoli. Even my fussy toddler ate the chops as they were so tender. Thank you!
This sauce was amazing with Pork Chops with mash potato and steem veggies.
That I had to try it with Chicken drumsticks
The only change to the recipe ,I made was swopping the pork chops for 8 chicken drumsticks. and cooked on low for about 5hrs.
Had plenty of sauce and served with chucky chips and salad.
Love this suggestion Trish!
I’ll have to try that for sure 🙂
Can we cut the sugar down a bit? there is just the two of us now and I dont like a lot of sweetness in my food though my husband likes a little.
Yes you can if you wish to. You can also used low sugar sauce varieties
Such an easy recipe. Simple to make and very tasty end result.
Will definitely be putting this one on a repeat recipe list. No complaints or comments were from my fussy food critic (my eldest son)
Absolutely delicious! Had it with mash and veg and enjoyed every mouthful!
Will definitely put this on my regular menu! Partner loved it and asked when we were having it again!
thank you so much for this recipe!
So simple, so amazing!
I’m not a pork chop fan but holy moly slap me with a wet fish, this was DELICIOUS! 100% recommend.
It’s simple, easy, and doesn’t take a whole lot of effort for something that was so good! We had ours on mash with sweet carrots.
(As I’m in South Africa, I used Jimmy’s sauce for my BBQ sauce and was the perfect ingredient)
Hands down my favourite feedback comment of the day Siobhan!! hahaha
