  • 250 mince (any kind)
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup Tomato sauce
  • Mixed herbs
  • 2 sheets puff pastry


  • Mix mince, onion, carrot, 1 of the eggs, tomato sauce & herbs together
  • Cut each sheet of pastry in half, divide mince mix into four lots, & place on each piece of pastry. Fold pastry over make edge meet, seal edges with fork.
  • Cut each roll into four, place in lined slow cooker,
  • (I hade 2 slow cookers going, with 8 in each)
  • Brush each with egg wash.
  • Cook on high for 2 hours, with tea towel under lid.

  1. Can I ask whether a ceramic slow cooker was used or a metal bowl slow cooker? I’m a bit doubtful if my Breville one would get a good result. Ill try but have to wait till we do a shop. Might have to crisp up in the oven. Thank you for the idea never would have thought of cooking sausage rolls in a slow cooker.
