Satay Wings - Low Carb - 4 Ingredients
These low carb satay wings pack a flavour PUNCH! And only 4 Ingredients - SO EASY!
Serving: 2
Ingredients
- 500g chicken wings (I like them to be sectioned, tips discarded)
- 3 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp reduced sugar tomato sauce/ketchup
- 1 tbsp reduced salt soy sauce
Instructions
- Place wings into a large bowl
- Add all other ingredients and stir wings through the mix to coat well
- Tip wings directly into slow cooker
- I cooked these for 2hrs on HIGH but you could instead do 3-4hrs on low if your prefer
- To keep them from getting extra liquid into the sauce and keep it nice and thick I used The Tea Towel Trick
- Delicious on their own, no extra sauce needed for these tasty morsels!
- Optional: Cracked black pepper and Ground Rock Salt to taste can be added before cooking or after

Nice recipe
This was a great recipe. So easy to put together, cook and eat. The kids loved it too, great for 2adults and 2kids (8&5) with salad and rice.
Used the tea towel to keep the extra moisture out of the cooker.
Will definitely make again, but will double the amounts so that there are leftovers to sneak!
500 g that is one pound that’s about 6-8 wings can i double the recipe or triple it what would be the recipe for 5 lbs of wings
I got a lot more than 6 wings (tipped) but yes you could multiply it just fine
For 5lbs (which is just over 2kg ) just multiply the rest by 3 or 4
Easy and ingredients on hand.
Added extra 1tbsp of peanut butter and soy sauce – cooked on high for 3hr as I had 500g chicken mini drums & extra tbsp soy sauce- very TASTY and chicken literally fell off the bone sauce stayed thick.
