Russian Sausages, red cabbage & chickpea stew

Ingredients
 

  • 1 onion (large, chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon sage
  • 1 tablespoon crushed garlic
  • 750 g sausages
  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • 1 cans tomatoes with juice (diced, 14.5 oz. can)
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Vegeta stock
  • ground black pepper (fresh, to taste)
  • 1/4 red cabbage (washed well and finely chopped)
  • 400gm can chickpeas, drained
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour
  • Put all ingredients in slow cooker, mix. Cook all day

Instructions
 

  • Put all ingredients in slow cooker.
  • It cooks while you're at work - cook all day on low 6-8hrs
