Peanut Butter Mug Cake
Serving: 1
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp peanut butter
Instructions
- Whisk all ingredients well to ensure they are well combined with the egg
- Pour batter into a coffee cup
- Add 1cm warm water into your slow cooker and gently sit cup in water
- Cover with teatowel (Tea Towel Trick) and cook on HIGH for 30mins
Notes
- You could multiply by however many cups you need 🙂
- Each mug cake is about half full in a standard mug

I had to make these the same day Paulene posted the recipe. She had me just with peanut butter 🙂 These were amazingly delicious and super easy to make. 3 simple ingredients most often on hand and yes they rose high even though there was no flour! Cant wait to make and share

Try adding small pieces of crystallised ginger or choc chips. Yum.
Could u use honey instead of sugar?
I’ve not tried that to be able to say with full confidence that you could due to the extra moisture it would create?
I’ve done this in the microwave before for one but I think it would be perfect in the slowcooker to make a few of them. Looking forward to trying this, thanks Pauline ?
