Cheesy Salami Chicken – Low Carb
A delicious salami and cheese topped chicken delight!
Serving: 5
Ingredients
- 5 x Chicken thigh cutlets (bone in) - or chicken pieces of your choice
- 5 x slices of mild salami
- 5 x slices of Jarlsberg cheese
Instructions
- Place chicken cutlets directly into slow cooker, nothing else added
- Cook on HIGH for 3hrs
- After three hours carefully remove chicken with slotted spoon and place aside
- Drain all liquid from slow cooker bowl
- Return chicken carefully to bowl
- Lay one slice of salami on top of each chicken piece
- Lay one slice of Jarlsberg cheese on top of each salami slice (if you have excess cheese you can double it over)
- You now have each chicken piece topped with salami and cheese
- At this point add tea towel using The Tea Towel Trick
- Cook on LOW for 1hr
