Sloppy joes

Ingredients
 

  • 500g minced beef
  • 1 onion
  • 3/4 tomato sauce
  • 1/4 bbq sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1-2 tbsp brown sugar
  • Hamburger buns

Instructions
 

  • Brown mince in onion in a pan, drain any excess oil and place in slow cooker.
  • Combine tomato, bbq sauce, mustard, garlic, Worcestershire, vinegar and sugar in a bowl and pour over mince.
  • Cook in low for 3-4h
  • Thicken with cornflour if needed.
  • Serve in hamburger buns with pickles, tomato and cheese or coleslaw.

      At a guess I would say bottle mustard since it isn’t stated as mustard powder?

    I use this all the time. Was a big hit when i used it in tuckshop. Grated carrot into it to make it healthier and the kids couldnt get enough

    1st time I cooked this….so delicious.
    Easy meal to put on.
    Definitely making this again.
    Great served in the Vietnamese rolls with grated cheese…yum.
    Next time I will grated some vegetables.
