Made this for dinner. Was really yummy. Was a bit sweet, but that’s because I didn’t have beef stock so used chicken stock. I used 10 sausages, but probably could have used 12, for the extra sauce. But its all good, because I will take remaining sausages out, and put new ones in and turn back on. I will make this again ?

Delicious, kids loved it and came back for seconds. Changes I made, I used about 1/3 cup of bbq and tomato sauce. Added an extra 1/2 cup of water mixed with 2 heaped teaspoons of cornflour about half way through cooking for extra sauce and too thicken up.

    This is one delicious dish.
I caramelised the onion, browned the sausages and added some garlic. I don’t usually brown the meats, but the juices from the onion were worth keeping.
    WOW, what a delicious dish.
I have kept the extra gravy to have later on.
This is definitely a keeper of a recipe and the sausages can be swapped for beef and chicken.
Thank you for a great recipe!

That’s fantastic feedback Linda! You’ve made me decide to try it later this week now too 🙂

Made this yesterday for the first time. I was not a massive fan as I did not like the sauce taste. Quantities of the recipe were correct, and as others have said I added a cornflour slurry to the mix to ensure it was thick enough. Will try a different variation next time.

  5. Tasty sausage dinner.
I did find it a little sweet.

Served the sausages with mashed potato, carrot and peas.
