  • 200 gms bacon, diced
  • 600 mls cream
  • 3 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken condensed soup
  • 1 Chicken Stock Cube
  • Any veggies of your choice - I like corn, baby spinach, mushrooms, champignons, peas, beans
  • 300 gms pasta of your choice

Instructions

  • Add 400 mls of cream and all other ingredients together apart from pasta.

Easy to make, recipe makes enough to feed approximately 8 people. Ours fed 2 children, 2 hungry adults (with seconds) and 3 portions for the freezer.
Empty plates all round. Definitely on our “make again ” list

Delicious meal the whole family gobbled it up. I cooked ravioli separate and served on that. 5 stars from everyone.

Did you make the stock cube up in water or just crush and sprinkle it in?

    1. Paulene @ Slow Cooker Central

Ready that I would just crumble it myself 🙂

  9. Pea Meese

Did you cook the pasta first? Currently in slow cooker

Does it have to be cooking cream or just normal thickened Cream?

    1. Paulene @ Slow Cooker Central

      Cooking cream specifically resists splitting

Can i do this with jarred cheese and bacon sauce?

    1. Paulene @ Slow Cooker Central

Do you mean a jar of sauce?
Yes but it would change this recipe
Why not create your own with that base 🙂

A winner in our household. I actually didn’t have the extra cream to add (OOPS) it still worked just not as saucy. My veges I added were carrot, baby corn, capsicum and browned/cooked leek and garlic. Absolutely delicious. I’ve never added raw pasta before and was dubious about only added 1/2 hr before eating BUT it worked!!

We enjoyed this a lot but we changed the soup to mushroom soup that’s all I had in the pantry and added small mushrooms cut in half.

I felt like a change tonight from my normal chicken dishes that I normally make so I thought I’d try this recipe n it turned out quite nice ? I used chicken tenderloins (diced), added diced carrots with all the other ingredients from the start n I only used 300mls of cream, added frozen baby peas in the last hr with a couple of handfuls of spiral pasta (I didn’t put as much pasta as stated) n there was still plenty of sauce ?
I’ll definitely make it again ?
Thank you for sharing your recipe with us Andrea ???

Definitely going to be a repeat in this house – so yummy. Added onion and mixed herbs for a bit more flavour. Easy with canned veges

Making this again today only this time I’ll cook the pasta separately because it absorbed all that lovely creamy sauce the last time but it is so yummy. Loads of garlic bread called for

  23. Jane

Hi can you put frozen veg straight in ?

    1. Paulene @ Slow Cooker Central

Yes if you are adding veg at the start it’s fine for them to be frozen veg as they’ll have plenty of time to cook 🙂
