    Delicious! Yummy easy recipe.
Put finely sliced brown onion in bottom of slow cooker first. I followed Paulene’s advice & removed string and put fat side down. I combined all the chicken stock, sauce, sugar & spices in a jug and poured over the pork (my piece was 1.5kg) and cooked on low all day from about 10am to 6.30pm. Didnt make it out of slow cooker in 1 piece, it practically pulled apart as I went. Served with brioche buns, gravy & apple sauce. Heaps of leftovers too!

  2. Such an easy recipe. Don’t be put off with the amount of spices. Kids loved it, lots of left overs. Cooked on low all dat from 7.30am – 5pm. The house smelt amazing.

  3. Loved this! I was wondering what sort of flavours we would get. Definitely not spicey or too hot but nice flavours! I enjoyed the slight sweetness of the sugar in there. So easy to prepare which I always enjoy too 🙂

  4. Tried this tonight, but tweaked it a little, was delicious….
Let out the spices and added some honey and used a hickory bbq bourbon sauce instead of plain bbq. I also doubled the sauce quantities and thickened up the sauce in a saucepan with some cornflour. Was a winner in our house.

This recipe is fantastic, I’ve never made pulled pork ever but I’m so glad this is the one I choose to follow.
I used a dry bag of slaw and a grated pink lady apple
    It was amazing. ??

Yum, yum and yum! This was so easy to prepare and literally fell apart as I was trying to get it out of the SC to pull apart. Very tender and tasty. Used 2kg of pork and have heaps left over.

Followed recipe used pork shoulder. 3kg.
Prepared everything for the pork the day before and threw pork fat side down , sauce on top.

Removed fat ( crackled in oven ) just before serving. Stripped netting off pork and rubbed spices on meat the day before and refrigerated overnight.
Made sauce mix the day before (Doubled ingredients for sauce.). We like lots of sauce. Next time I won’t double the brown sugar, was a little sweet. But yummy.
Cooked on low for 10 hours, pulled pork and placed back in sauce with lid off for 40 mins to thicken a little.
Self service for family with crunchy coleslaw and wraps.
It was enjoyed by all. Next time I’m going to do it with Jacket potatoes, coleslaw and sour cream.
    Thanks for another awesome recipe.
