Sushi karaage chicken

Ingredients
 

  • 1 kg chicken ( thigh is best )
  • 2 Tbsp garlic
  • 2 tbsp ginger
  • 200ml soy sauce
  • 100ml mirin
  • 100ml cooking sake
  • 1 box of cornflour

Instructions
 

  • Combine liquids, ginger and garlic
  • Place chicken in sc pour over liquid
  • Cook till just cooked - 2hrs on HIGH
  • Pour corn flour into a bowl
  • Remove chicken from sc with a slotted spoon draining excess liquid
  • Coat in cornflour shaking of excess
  • Place in deep fryer , not touching
  • Cook till crisp ( 1 to 2 minutes ) at 180
