The perfect winter soup. So easy to make. I didn’t fry off the bacon and onions I just dumped everything in and set it. I did add a small amount of mushrooms to it. Will be bring this one into the soup rotation.

Really tasty soup. I followed the recipe exactly except I added ricotta cheese instead of cooking cream. Love this recipe and really easy to make ?

Going by the ingredients it looks like it would make approx 2L of soup so I’d guess 4 large serves or 6 smaller serves as an entree etc

Made this for the first time added extra bacon and used Italian herbs instead of basil. Cooked for about 7 hrs. Tasty and easy to do
