Chicken Parmigiana

Ingredients
 

  • 2 pieces of chicken breast
  • Flour
  • Egg wash
  • bread crumbs
  • sauce of choice
  • Grated cheese

Instructions
 

  • Flour, egg wash and crumb breast fillets.
  • Spray bottom of slow cooker.
  • Place chicken in cooker for 1 hour on high and then turn over.
  • Put sauce and cheese on top and cook for another hour on high with tea towel under lid
  • These are not super crisp like frying BUT are like oven cooked and are very healthy.

  2. Nooo! No idea what this will taste like as it’s not ready yet but popping the sauce in has just cracked my bowl!! ??

      That shouldn’t be the sauce doing that? I add sauces all the time like this and have never cracked … the only way I could think of this happening would be if the sauce you added was cold, going into a hot ceramic bowl? Is it cold where you are or had it been in the fridge?

  3. Always a family favourite, love this recipe, and it’s not drenched in fat?I used a salsa sauce.
