I can’t get a pork fillet anywhere so I’m going to use pork chops.
Hi, I want to make this, but I don’t have any brown vinegar. Can I use white do you think? TIA
I would think that would be ok 🙂
I loved this diah tonight. Hubby doesn’t like sweet things in his dinner unfortunately but i will make it again for me. Lol
Made this tonight, OMG delicious. My son asked me to send the recipe to his wife as he thinks his 3 little men would like it. Thank you for creating so many tasty and oh so easy recipes.
That’s such great feedback Yvonne!
Thank you 🙂 🙂
Hope the boys like it too!
Yum!
Didn’t have mustard powder or brown vinegar
Substituted balsamic vinegar and 1 TABLEspoon of prepared mustard instead
Forgot to use the cornstarch at the end to thicken the juices so will use it tomorrow to make the fried rice.
Also beautiful with chicken and i did beef short ribs with it too. That too wasnt half bad.
Nice simple, tasty dish. Will definately do again.
I bought a Pork Fillet from Aldi.
Cooked it on Low for just over 4 hours. Served it on rice, with vegetables.
Delicious meal enjoyed by our family.
So happy you enjoyed it Nadine!
Family really enjoyed it. I added capsicum, mushrooms and Asian green and served with fried rice. Unfortunately there were no leftovers.
Thanks so much for leaving your great feedback WP! 🙂
This meal was soo tasty and everybody loved it including my parents and Father in law. My daughter who is fussy loved it, raving about the flavour of the sauce. We used a pork shoulder and diced it up into pieces. We will definitely make this again 🥰we served it plain rice, peas and corn and broccolini which I heated in a pan and sprinkled garlic powder over it. Very yum.
Sounds like it was a total hit!! Did you change anything else in quantities when using the diced pork shoulder Nicky? 🙂
