My second time making this. Definitely a favourite and so easy. I doubled the recipe this time coz I’m cooking for more people.

Absolutely delicious ? the chicken was very tender and the gravy sauce was delicious, the chicken came apart so easily.I used maggi rich gravy and thickened a little at the end and served with mash potato. Will be making this one again.

What is gravox for the gravy pulled chicken

    1. Paulene @ Slow Cooker Central

Gravox is just an instant gravy powder/granules

Son chose this over roast lamb. I used Maggi gravy and thickened at the end of cooking. Absolutely delicious and pulled apart very easily

Which Gravox do you use? is it just the plan bown gravy one, the chicken one?

I’d suggest using whatever one you love best 🙂

Do you pull chicken out and then thicken the gravy?

    1. Paulene @ Slow Cooker Central

No when you shred chicken into the sauce/gravy (or pull any meat in that way) it absorbs up the liquids and it thickens itself that way 🙂
