Equipment

  • 6L slow cooker

Ingredients
 

  • 1 kg Chuck/Casserole Beef – diced
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1 large Onion diced
  • 2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tsp heaped, of minced garlic
  • 400 grams of cup Mushrooms – Quartered or 8th depending on size
  • 250 ml beef stock
  • 1/2 cup White Wine
  • 1/4 cup Tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour

Instructions
 

  • In a large ziplock bag, add the beef, garlic powder and flour and shake to coat.
  • Place onions in bottom of slow cooker then add beef.
  • Add all other ingredients except the sour cream and cornflour. Stir to combine.
  • Cook on LOW for 8 hours.
  • Combine sour cream and cornflour and add to slow cooker.
  • Cook on LOW for another 1/2 hour.
  • I served with garlic mash.
