
Creamy Beef with Mushrooms
A creamy, melt in your mouth & flavoursome meal
Equipment
- 6L slow cooker
Ingredients
- 1 kg Chuck/Casserole Beef – diced
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 large Onion diced
- 2 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 tsp heaped, of minced garlic
- 400 grams of cup Mushrooms – Quartered or 8th depending on size
- 250 ml beef stock
- 1/2 cup White Wine
- 1/4 cup Tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Sweet paprika
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 tbsp Cornflour
Instructions
- In a large ziplock bag, add the beef, garlic powder and flour and shake to coat.
- Place onions in bottom of slow cooker then add beef.
- Add all other ingredients except the sour cream and cornflour. Stir to combine.
- Cook on LOW for 8 hours.
- Combine sour cream and cornflour and add to slow cooker.
- Cook on LOW for another 1/2 hour.
- I served with garlic mash.
