Hi, this recipe looks amazing but can you tell me how you “cover the rolls top down in the slow cooker”? Does this mean you put the rolls into the slow cooker tops down then spoon over all the ingredients….I was reading it as put it all on the roll then turn upside down in cooker…hmmm thinkin’ everything would fall off LOL….I am sure it is how I said first, but would like confirmation please. Many thanks.

Top down meaning not the cut side down
So the cut/flat side faces upwards
Then top that with the topping 🙂

  2. made this tonight a big tick from hubbie and me did cook it a bit longer then suggested but didn’t change anything else..cheers

Yum Yum Yum!!! This is a really tasty dish. I did it for an easy Saturday night dinner to watch the All Blacks v Wallabies game. Hubby said this is certainly a keeper. I also lined my slow cooker with baking paper to make for easy clean up. Will definitely be making this again. Thank you for a fabulous recipe.
