Very yummy! We doubled the BBQ to make it more saucy and it was divine!

Very nice meal and the leftovers were perfect for rolls and salad the next day. Again it was simple to make but loaded with flavour.

    How long on low?

With that size roast it could easily take 7-8hrs on low 🙂

    Hi,
I need to feed 23 people – how much beef would I need and I’m assuming this would increase the cooking time?
    Thanks!

      Golly that’s a lot! 🙂
It depends what you are serving with? On bread rolls etc?
I would think you’d need at least maybe 3-4 times as much perhaps
How will you fit them all in? Or will you use multiple cookers
Basically if you fill your cooker with the beef I’d give it all day on low 8-10hrs

This was divine. We served it with beetroot slaw in bake-at-home rolls. Thank you for the recipe.

One of our faves. Super easy and so yummy. We put it on brioche buns with coleslaw. Perfect for entertaining

Would it be possible to use a corned silverside for this? I really want to make something that tastes like bacon to use in various other dishes( I’m allergic to pork so can’t have regular bacon. Miss it so much!)

I’ve never really thought about it, not sure how salty it might taste but if you give it a go I’d love to hear how you find it 🙂

Just made this recipe last night and my family and I totally loved it!
I used Stubbs Hickory Bourbon Bbq Sauce and it was divine.
After pulling beef & returning to slow cooker, I added a couple of tablespoons of gravy powder with half a cup of water & cooked on warm for about another half hour. It thickened the sauce well.
Turned out to be a real treat! Will definitely become a family favourite.

Family loved it. Used this recipe as a base and tweaked it a bit.
I used red onion and beef brisket. Sprinkled some Moroccan spice as that was all i had and 3/4 of a bottle of sweet baby rays Hickory bbqsauce. Cooked on low for 7 hrs Shred.Mix remaining sauce and 3 to 4 ladlesof liquid from slow cooker together. Mix through beef , put on tray and in preheat oven until thick and crispy edges. 15 mins?

We used 3/4 bottle of good BBQ sauce. It was simple to make & delicious. We will definitely cook again.

Made this in the weekend for my son’s new flat (moving day). Served with buns, salad, etc. Feedback from young adults was amazing, they said it was better than the BBQ restaurant! Beautifully moist and full of flavour

Lovely fulled beef! Everyone gave it the thumbs up. I did rub a little chipotle seasoning on the beef first, then followed the recipe.
