Leg lamb in french onion soup & sweet chilli sauce

Juice from this also makes wonderful homemade gravy as well..Your leg lamb should be very tender , succulent and delicious too!

Ingredients
 

  • Foil
  • 1/2 a packet of French onion soup
  • 2tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • Leg lamb

Instructions
 

  • Place leg lamb on foil
  • Sprinkle 1/2 packet french onion soup over leg lamb
  • Drizzle sweet chilli sauce over lamb
  • Wrap altogether in foil
  • Place in s/c
  • Cook on low setting up to 9hrs (see note below)

Notes

  • Depending on the size of your slow cooker & leg lamb is how long you cook it for too your liking so please check
  • Juice from this also makes wonderful homemade gravy as well..
  • Your leg lamb should be very tender , succulent and delicious too

    Loved this recipe!
    I’d maybe go even a smidge less on the FO soup to cut down saltiness
    I didn’t use the foil and it still worked amazing and was melt in the mouth
    Will definitely do this one again 🙂

    I put the sweet chilli sauce on first & rubbed it on, then sprinkled with the French onion soup mix. This way the soup stays on better.

    don’t normally like lamb but this recipe changed our minds.followed recipe but didn’t wrap in foil.fell apart &, lovely &, tender
