Honey Garlic Chicken

Ingredients
 

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup low salt soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp minced ginger
  • 1/4 tsp red chili flakes
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion fine diced
  • 3 tbsp. cornflour to thicken

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken breasts in slow cooker
  • Combine all other ingredients except cornflour and pour over chicken
  • Cook on low 4-5hrs
  • Removed chicken and shred/pull apart
  • Place sauce from the slow cooker, into a saucepan and bring to boil
  • Combine cornflour with a little water then add this to the sauce, while stirring, until thickened.
  • Pour sauce over chicken and combine
  • Serve with rice, fried rice or vegetables :)
