Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
1/2 cup low salt soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
2 tbsp. rice vinegar
2 tsp minced ginger
1/4 tsp red chili flakes
5 cloves garlic minced
1 small onion fine diced
3 tbsp. cornflour to thicken
Instructions
Place chicken breasts in slow cooker
Combine all other ingredients except cornflour and pour over chicken
Cook on low 4-5hrs
Removed chicken and shred/pull apart
Place sauce from the slow cooker, into a saucepan and bring to boil
Combine cornflour with a little water then add this to the sauce, while stirring, until thickened.
Pour sauce over chicken and combine
Serve with rice, fried rice or vegetables :)
