Honey Garlic Chicken
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup low salt soy sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp. rice vinegar
- 2 tsp minced ginger
- 1/4 tsp red chili flakes
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small onion fine diced
- 3 tbsp. cornflour to thicken
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in slow cooker
- Combine all other ingredients except cornflour and pour over chicken
- Cook on low 4-5hrs
- Removed chicken and shred/pull apart
- Place sauce from the slow cooker, into a saucepan and bring to boil
- Combine cornflour with a little water then add this to the sauce, while stirring, until thickened.
- Pour sauce over chicken and combine
- Serve with rice, fried rice or vegetables 🙂
