Sticky Christmas Ham

Ingredients
 

  • 2 cups of pineapple juice
  • 2 cups of brown sugar
  • 4 tsp of balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tsp of Dijon mustard
  • 4 tsp of honey
  • Large ham. Leg in or boneless is fine

Instructions
 

  • Place pineapple juice in slow cooker
  • mix in a bowl remaining ingredients
  • Cover ham with brown sugar mix and put in slow cooker
  • cook on low for approx. 5hrs
  • PLEASE NOTE Ham is already cooked, so its just in there to get the flavour into it, if you need it sooner its fine to take it out
  • Strain left over liquid into a saucepan, add cornflour to thicken.
  • Drizzle over ham before serving
  • The sauce is very sweet, so I wouldn't recommend using it too liberally :)
