Golden Syrup Self Saucing Pudding

Ingredients
 

  • packet vanilla cake mix make as directed
  • —SAUCE
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons golden syrup

Instructions
 

  • Make packet vanilla cake mix as directed on packet and pour into greased slow cooker
  • Then pour 2 cups boiling water into a jug with brown sugar, butter and golden syrup
  • Mix gently to dissolve sugar then gently pour over cake mixture
  • Cook 2hrs on high using tea towel method
  • Cooking time may vary depending on your slow cooker
