Mix all the meatball ingredients really well together in a bowl. Mix until the protein becomes soft and looks ‘less wet’. I use my hands. Roll into golf ball sized balls. Put in a 3.5lt slow cooker.
In a jug combine the sauce ingredients. Mix well. Pour over meatballs. Cook on low for 4-5 hours.

Serve over mash, rice or pasta.
I have finally perfected my meatball recipe! These meatballs are so full of flavour and super easy and quick to make. The rice in the meatballs thicken the sauce to a lovely consistency. Sure to be a family favourite, just like it is in our house!
