Take washed potatoes and make slices down into each one all the way along the length of the potato approx. 0.5cm apart – but stop each cut approx. 2/3 of the way through the potato so it doesn’t cut all the way through.
Sit potatoes, cut side up, in bottom of slow cooker
Add 1 heaped tsp of garlic on top of each potato and spread over
Top each one with 1T butter (and one extra T of butter at the end into the slow cooker bowl)
Cook on low for 4-5hrs or until potatoes are tender, turning gently half way through cooking
Lift out cooked potatoes gently so they don’t break apart at slices

Serve one whole potato person and this recipe can be adjusted to suit however many serves you need
