Ingredients
1 kg Beetroot
2 teaspoons minced ginger
500 ml Apple cyder vinegar
500 grams sugar
1 teaspoon cumin
2 teaspoons ground cardamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
4 green apples
2 onions finely chopped
juice of 1 fresh lemon
200grams raisins
2 tablespoons of cornflour at the end to thicken.
Instructions
Peel and grate the beetroot
Peel and finely chop apples and onions place all ingredients into the slow cooker except the cornflour.
Cook on high for 4 hours mix cornflour with cold water into past mix through.
Place in sterilized jars and seal should last for several months.
