Hearty 'Macastroni' soup

Ingredients
 

  • 1 red capsicum
  • 1 green capsicum
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 1 parsnip
  • 1 small broccoli
  • 5 carrots
  • 2 zucchini
  • 2 tins of tomatoes
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic (to taste)
  • 1 brown onion
  • 2 shallots
  • A few good shakes of dried mixed herbs (do to your taste)
  • 2 litres of Chicken Stock (or you can use vegetable to make it completely vegetarian)
  • 500g macaroni.

Instructions
 

  • Dice all vegetables. Cut broccoli as you normally would.
  • Put all in slow cooker and add a shake of dried mixed herbs
  • Place lid on and cook on LOW for 6 hours.
  • After 6 hours, place macaroni in a heatproof bowl and cover in boiling water for 10 minutes, stirring once or twice.
  • Drain water and add pasta to slow cooker.
  • Put on HIGH for approximately 20 or until pasta is cooked.
  • Serve with garlic bread
