Combine all the ingredients (except the chocolate) into the slow cooker and mix well
Cook on low for 5-6hrs, stirring occasionally to break down any mince lumps (I like to use a plastic potato masher for a fine texture)
Place the chocolate on the op and allow 5 minutes to melt, then stir through well
Serve with corn chips and a good dollop of sour cream
Notes: This one has a bit of spice to it but not overly so. To give you an idea, our then 12 and 16yr old enjoyed it but our 5yr old found it a little 'too spicy' for her. But to be fair she sometimes says that about breakfast cereal too so you be the judge hahaha. Use this as a general guide to adjust the specified chilli if you need to but to reassure you –I don’t like spicy chilli, and I loved this!
