Ingredients
1 1/4 cups gluten free SR flour (Woolworths Free From)
30 grams butter
1/3 cup golden syrup
100ml Milk, warm
Sauce
30 grams butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup golden syrup
1 2/3 cups water
Instructions
Turn cooker onto high.
Combine sauce ingredients in glass jug and heat on high in microwave until dissolved (only took 1 minute in mine). Pour into slow cooker bowl.
I left sauce for about 20 minutes while I prepared pudding mix.
Rub flour and butter together, mix syrup into flour and butter.
Slowly add warm milk, mixing until smooth.
Pour into syrup.
Cook for Approx. 1 1/2 hours on high (1.5L slow cooker)
We had about 450ml of sauce when finished
NOTE: Could also be done Dairy free or Lactose free
The flour and golden syrup form firm ball so I add just enough milk that it is smooth/soft enough to scrape/pour from mixing bowl/jug
