Beer & Honey Marinated Pork hocks with cheats sauerkraut

Ingredients
 

  • Pork
  • 2 hocks (about 500g)
  • 1 stubbie beer (i used Carlton mid)
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • Sauerkraut
  • 1/4 med cabbage
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 tsp black pepper
  • 4 potatoes for mash

Instructions
 

  • Pork
  • Place all ingredients in sc and cook on low for 7 - 8 hours
  • Sauerkraut
  • Place all in a hot pan and cook quickly. If sauerkraut doesn't have enough bite to it add in small amounts of extra pepper and vinegar. If too bitey add a little extra sugar
  • Serve hocks, kraut and mash
