Chicken Dopiaza

Ingredients
 

  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 3 large onions
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 4 skinless chicken breasts
  • 50 ml chicken stock
  • 400 ml passata
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Add tsp of oil to frying pan and heat till smoking.
  • Add all the spices and fry for 30 seconds.
  • Add onion and diced chicken and brown off.
  • Transfer to the slow cooker and add the stock, tomato puree and passata then leave on low for 6-8 hours
