Ingredients
Cake
1/2 c sugar
50g butter
2 c self raising flour
2 t lemon rind
3/4 cup milk
Sauce
2 c boiling water
1/2 c lemon juice
1/2 c sugar
Instructions
Beat butter & sugar together, add flour, milk & lemon rind.
Combine and pour into 3 litre slow cooker.
Sauce
Mix water, lemon juice, & sugar together and gently pour
Over cake mixture.
Cook on high with tea towel under lid for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
Once cooked turn off sc and let stand 5-10 mins to allow
Sauce to thicken before serving.
