Steak and Mushroom Pie

Ingredients
 

  • 500g gravy beef cut to size
  • 500g beef mince
  • 1 onion
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (nothing added)
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbls gravy powder (dry)
  • 2 tbls tomato paste
  • 1 beef stock cube (dry)
  • 1 tbls Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 10 mushrooms sliced
  • Puff pastry for lid
  • Shortcrust pastry for base
  • CHEESE OPTIONAL

Instructions
 

  • Brown Steak
  • Brown mince
  • Set mince aside, put in fridge.
  • Add all ingredients (except mince) into SC and stir
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hrs.
  • Add mince and stir through, (a little extra water may be needed)
  • Heat oven to 180
  • Spray pie dish with oil
  • Line with shortcrust
  • Add filling (cheese now if wanted)
  • Add lid
  • Bake until pastry is golden
