Mix all ingredients in a bowl except the water, then shape into a loaf
Wrap tightly in foil and put a couple of small holes in the bottom for the fat to drain out
Place some egg rings or cookie cutters in the slow cooker with some strips of twisted foil and place your loaf on top,
Add 1 cup of water to the bottom of the slow cooker
2 hours on high then 4 on low
Remove and unwrap, roll out puff pastry and place loaf onto it, I did a braid/plait type
Brush with milk or the rest of the egg
Cook in oven at 200 degrees C for about 30 mins or until golden brown xxx
