Seafood Sticks

Flaky, pastry covered seafood sticks

Ingredients
 

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry (marked out into quarters)
  • 8 seafood sticks
  • 1 egg whisked

Instructions
 

  • Lay out each sheet of puff pastry on bench and cut into quarters using a sharp knife
  • On each quarter, lay down one seafood stick diagonally across the corner of each square
  • Roll the seafood stick up in the square to form the pastry covered seafood stick and pinch both ends of each parcel closed tight
  • Pierce along top of each parcel with fork 2-3 times
  • Brush with whisked egg wash
  • Place in slow cooker that has been lightly sprayed with non stick oil spray (or on a sheet of non stick baking paper)
  • Cover with teatowel (Tea Towel Trick) and cook on HIGH for 1hr 15mins
  • I turned the sticks over at 30mins and 60 mins, brushing the side I'm about to place down onto slow cooker with the egg wash each time I turned.
  • Enjoy hot :)
