Lamb Bolognaise

A rustic homestyle bolagnaise made from scratch

Ingredients
 

  • 1kg Lamb (any cut you have, I used lamb chops)
  • 1 Tablespoon Wholegrain Mustard
  • 1 Teaspoon Pesto
  • 1 400g Tinned diced tomatoes i used olive oil and garlic variety
  • Worcestershire Sauce to taste
  • Lemon Pepper to taste
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1 Tablespoon Reduced Salt Beef Stock
  • Garlic to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place tinned tomatoes in the slow cooker
  • Add Garlic and all other ingredients in the slow cooker and mix to incorporate everything
  • Place Lamb in the slow cooker with the other ingredients
  • Put lid on slow cooker
  • Cook on low for 6 hrs or high for 3 hrs

Notes

  • Cooking times are only a guideline as all slow cookers cook differently.
  • I used a Ronson oval 6 litre so make sure you adjust cooking time to suit your cooker.
